Emanuel Stein has been on the faculty of New York University since 1930. An authority on labor-management relations, he has served as a mediator or member of arbitration panels on local, state, and national levels and has written widely in the field. In 1962, Mr. Stein taught an educational television course on labor problems. In 1964, he won the Great Teacher Award of New York University’s Alumni Federation.
