Halford L. Hoskins founded the Fletch School of Law and Diplomacy in 1933 ar served as its dean for 11 years before establishing the School of Advanced Internation Studies and the Middle East Institute Washington, D. C. He has also served Senior Specialist in International Relatio for the Legislative Reference Service of the Library of Congress and initiated the Midd East Journal. Among his many written wor is The Middle East: Problem Area in Wor Politics (New York: Macmillan, 1954).
