Bernard K. Gordon, now in Singapore under a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship, is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. A frequent contributor to periodicals, Mr. Gordon also is the author of New Zealand Becomes a Pacific Power (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1960) and is now at work on a book on conflict and cooperation in southeast Asia.
