Soviet Policies in Latin America

David T. Cattell has been Acting Director of the Russian and East European Studies center at U.C.L.A. since 1959. The author of Communism and the Spanish Civil War (Los Angeles: California University Press, 1955); Soviet Diplomacy and the Spanish Civil War (Los Angeles, California University Press, 1957) ; and co-author of Control on Foreign Relations in Modern Nations (New York: Norton, 1957), Professor Cattell has traveled extensively in East and WestEurope and in the Soviet Union, where hewas an exchange professor at the University of Leningrad in 1962.
