Visiting Professor of History, University of the West Indies
Samuel J. Hurwitz, Associate Professor of History at Brooklyn College, is currently teaching at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica under a Fulbright Fellowship. In 1953-1954, he won a Faculty Fellowship from the Fund for Advancement of Education. Professor Hurwitz is the author of StateIntervention in Great Britain (New York: Columbia University Press, 1949) and co-author of Some Modern Historians of Britain (New York: Drydcn Press, 1951).
