Japan’s Security Policy in Transition

James William Morley is a member of the staff of the East Asian Institute at Columbia University, and director of its research project on Japan’s foreign relations. He is the author of The Japanese Thrust in Siberia, 1918 (New York: Columbia University Press,1957), numerous articles on Japan’s foreign relations, and the forthcoming paper-back, Japan and Korea: America’s Allies in East Asia (New York: Walker, scheduled for Spring, 1964).
