F. M. G. Willson won his doctorate in Philosophy at Oxford in 1953.He then served as a Research Fellow and Lecturer at Oxford until 1960 since when he has been Professor of Government in Salisbury. His writings include The Organization of British Central Government (Allen and Unwin, 1957), and Administrators in Action (Allen and Unwin, 1961).
