Mary Benson, now a contributor to the London Observer, The Times, The Guardian and the B.B.C., was bom and educated in South Africa. In 1963, she lectured at universities in California and Massachusetts on the African leaders in South Africa. She is author of Tshekedi Khama, The African Patriots and Chief Albert Lutuli and was a contributor to I Will Still Be Moved and Africa: A Handbook to the Continent.
