Harry R. Rudin is Colgate Professor of History. In 1931-1932, he was fellow of the Social Science Research Council, working in England, Germany, France and West Africa. In 1961, he traveled down Africa’s west coast from Morocco to Capetown, and north again from Cape-to-Cairo. His works include Germany in the Cameroons, 1884–1914 and Armistice—1918.
