Peter S. H. Tang is the Executive Director of the Research Institute on the Sino-Soviet Bloc, Chestnut Hill, Mass. He taught at Georgetown University for five years and was visiting professor of history at Indiana University in 1962. He served as an attache to the Chinese Embassy in Moscow during World War II, and toured extensively along the periphery of the Soviet Union and Communist China in 1959-1960.
