The Soviet Space Program

Robert A. Kilmarx has written many articles on the Soviet military, and is the author of A History of Soviet Air Power (1962). During World War II, he served with the United States Army Air Corps in Europe, and served as an aide to the Deputy United States Military Governor for Germany. He is a senior civilian employee in the Department of Defense. Most recently he contributed an article to the Center of Strategic Studies at Georgetown University for a book entitled Nuclear War and Soviet Strategy.
