Chairman of the Harvard Department o Economics, Seymour E. Harris has been a member of the faculty since 1922. He has served often as a consultant to government agencies. Editor of The Review of Economics and Statistics, he is the author of 25 books on economics. Among his latest publications are The Economics of the Politice Parties and The Economics of American Medicine (Macmillan, November, 1963).
