Gordon Forsyth is a lecturer in social economics at the Victoria University of Manchester, and a contributing editor to the journal, Medical Care. Formerly a Nuffield Fellow in Operational Studies at the Manchester University Medical School, Mr. Forsyth was a World Health Organisation Travelling Fellow in 1962, studying the quality of medical care in the United States and Canada. He is the author of The Demand for Medical Care (Oxford University Press, 1960).
