Red China and the United Nations

Sheldon Appleton was formerly a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. He has previously written articles and book reviews for the Journal of Asian Studies, Pacific Affairs, Far Eastern Survey and the Minneapolis Star. For some years he has been engaged in intensive research on the question of Chinese representation at the United Nations. His book, The Eternal Triangle? Communist China, the United States and the United Nations, will be published this fall by the Michigan State University Press.
