Chris A. De Young has spent more than 40 years in educational administration, including seven overseas assignments. He helped design a model rural school for Pakistan, and has taught courses on school buildings and finance in many universities. Presently coordinator of the Grand Valley College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, he is the author of Budgeting in Public Schools and American Education, which has appeared in its fourth edition in English, plus one in Italian.
