Bernard B. Fall, is the author of several books and studies on Indochina, including the recent Le Viet-Minh, 1945-1960, and Street Without Joy: Indochina at War 1946-54. He traveled in Southeast Asia in 1953 and 1957. In 1959, as a Seato Research Scholar, he traveled to Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam while completing a study on Communist infiltration in those countries.
