India Faces a New Decade

Norman D. Palmer has just finished a book on The Indian Political System, which is scheduled for publication later this year by Houghton Mifflin. He had previously been appointed a Research Fellow of the Council on Foreign Relations, enabling him to make an over-all study of recent developments and trends in India and Pakistan and their implications for United States policy. President of the National Council on Asian Affairs, Mr. Palmer is also co-author of International Relations: The World Community in Transition (2nd edition). During 1952–1953, he was Visiting Fulbright Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Delhi.
