Germany’s Role in West Europe

Carl G. Anthon has taught at many colleges and universities, including the American University of Beirut (1955- 1958). He has served as a historian with the United States Military Government in Berlin and as a cultural officer for the United States High Commissioner (1950-1952). Most recently he has been executive secretary of the Fulbright commission in the German Federal Republic, 1958-1960.
