Solomon M. Schwarz studied law and economics in his native Russia. He received a degree there, in Yaraslavl, and later in Heidelberg, Germany. His published writings in many languages deal for the most part with labor. Since 1940, Dr. Schwarz has lived in the United States, where he has taught at the New School for Social Research and at New York University. He is managing editor of the Russian monthly, “The Socialist Courier,” and author of a study of The Jews in the U.S.S.R.
