Carroll Quigley has held his present position since 1941. He has taught history at Princeton and Harvard Universities, and has spent a year in France and Italy doing archival research in administrative history. His chief field of interest is the comparative history of civilizations. Frequently he lectures to agencies of the United States government and has written a number of articles on anthropological subjects.
