The Strength of German Capitalism

The writer of this article has been Professor of Economics at Duke University since 1927. As Social Science Research fellow he was in Soviet Russia in 1929 and 1930, the results of his visit being embodied in his work, The Economic Life of Soviet Russia, published in 1931. During the past year he has been studying the political and economic situation in Germany.
