Labor Problems in a Developing Economy

George B. Baldwin received his doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and taught there for five years in the Department of Economics before moving to Vanderbilt University in 1956 to teach in a special Graduate Program in Economic Development for foreign students. In August, 1958, he joined the Harvard Advisory Group of economists working at the Plan Organization in Teheran. He has conducted research in Britain and India and has written two books and several articles bearing on labor problems and economic growth.
