Solomon M. Schwarz studied law and economics in his native Russia. He received a law degree there, in Yaroslavl, and later in Heidelberg, Germany. His published writings in many languages deal for the most part with labor. Since 1940, Dr. Schwarz has been living in the United States, where he has taught at the New School for Social Research and at New York University. He is also the author of The Jews in the U.S.S.R., and is managing editor of the Russian monthly, “The Socialist Courier.”
