President Hoover’s Record

*Mr. Nevins has written a number of books on American history, the latest published being Henry White: Thirty Years, of American Diplomacy. He is now at work on a biography of Grover Cleveland. Some of his most important work, however, is to be found among his contributions to the Dictionary of American Biography, which include the notable article on President Harding in Volume VIII. After serving for fourteen years as a newspaper editor, Mr. Nevins became Professor of History at Cornell University, and now occupies a similar position at Columbia University.
