Ross N. Berkes has recently returned to California from a special assignment in Washington for the Department of State in the fall of 1958. He has also taught at the U.S. Naval Intelligence School in Washington, D. C. In 1945, he served on the staff of the Allied Secretariat, Four Power Control Council for Germany. On sabbatical leave, 1955-1956, he did research on British foreign policy at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, London.
