Shen-yu Dai formerly served as consultant with the Foreign Policy Research Institute, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that he did extensive research on China and Asia at the Center for International Studies, M.I.T., and the Human Relations Area Files, Yale University. He is the author of a number of articles, book reviews and research studies in the field.
