The Truman Administration and the Cold War

Norman A. Graebner, formerly Associate Professor of History at Iowa State College, is a frequent contributor to CURRENT HISTORY, where he serves as a Contributing Editor. Early in 1958, Professor Graebner delivered the Commonwealth Fund Lectures in London on the subject,“The Revolution in American Politics, 1837–1877.” He is the author of Empire on the Pacific and The New Isolationism, and is also a contributor to many scholarly journals.
