Albert G. Simsspent five post-war years in U. S. government service in Germany and later was deputy director of the U. S. Information and Education Program. In February of this year he visited Rumania to survey the status of education there and to examine in that light the possibility of establishing educational exchange relations. As a lay citizen he has also undertaken studies of public school problems in Greenwich, Connecticut, on behalf of citizens’ groups.
