The Liberal Arts: A British View

W. R. Niblettis Professor of Education at the University of Leeds, also Director of its Institute of Education. For the past ten years he has been a member of the University Grants Committee of the British Treasury. He chaired the U.G.C. Sub-Committee responsible for producing last year an official report on Residence Hall development. He is a member of the British National Advisory Council on the Training and Supply of Teachers and is also the author of a number of books, of which Education—The Lost Dimension was published by William Sloane, New York, in 1955.
