Japan in Southeast Asia

Amry Vandenboschwas a member of the Brookhaven Nuclear Scientists' mission to the Colombo Plan countries in 1956, and a member of the Secretariat at the San Francisco Conference in 1945, where he served as one of the secretaries of the trusteeship committee. A long-time student of colonial policy and administration in Southeast Asia, his books include The Dutch East Indies: Its Government, Problems and Politics; The United Nations (coauthored) ; and Southeast Asia among the Powers (co-authored).
