Japan’s Relations with the Communist World

Ardath W. Burksis co-author of Far Eastern Governments and Politics: China and Japan and many articles on Japan and Asia. In 1941-1946 he sewed as an Air Force intelligence analyst and Navy language-intelligence officer throughout the Pacific Theatre. In 1952-1953 he was research associate and Field Director of Research, Center for Japanese Studies, Okayama, Japan. Dr. Burks has recently sewed as director and co-director of several summer institutes devoted to the culture and politics of Asia.
