Fayez A. Sayegh, in addition to his present position as Acting Director, is also Chief of Research and Chief of Public Liaison of the Arab States Delegations Office and Counselor to the Yemen Delegation to the United Nations. He served as United Nations social affairs officer in the human rights division from 1952 to 1954. He has taught at the Graduate Schools of Georgetown and Yale Universities. Author of 7 books in Arabic, Dr. Sayegh has published several studies in English, including The Palestine Problem, Understanding the Arab Mind, and The Record of Israel at the United Nations.
