Michael T. Florinsky’smore recent books include: Towards an Understanding of the U.S.S.R. (1951); a two-volume study of Russia: A History and an Interpretation (1953); and Integrated Europe? (1955). Former editor of Commercial and Tariff History, 1939-1941, he is a member of the American Economic Association and the Economic History Association, among others. Mr. Florinsky served as associate editor of Economic and Social History of the World War, 1921-1932, a Carnegie Endowment for International Peace publication.
