Sidney Warrenwas Visiting Fulbright Professor of American History at the University of Durham, England, 1949-1950; the following year he was Visiting Professor of American History at the University of Glascow, Scotland. Among his published works are American Freethought and Farthest Frontier: The Pacific Northwest.
