American Aid in East-Central Europe

Huey Louis Kostanick spent the summer, 1956, visiting in Czechoslovakia and Poland. Prior to that, his sabbatical year was spent doing research in Europe and the Near and Middle East under the auspices of the University of California at Los Angeles, the Social Science Research Council and the Ford Foundation. During World War II, he served a year in North Africa, traveling from Casablanca to Suez.
