Mr. Stelzle, an outstanding authority on religious problems, reaches conclusions in the following article which are likely to arouse dissent among the orthodox. He was for ten years pastor in workingmen’s churches in the Middle West, served as religious editor of the Newspaper Enterprise Association, directed the publicity for the American Red Cross in its department for labor and the churches in all denominations, served as publicity counselor for the World’s Alliance for International Friendship, Church Peace Union, New Era Movement for the Presbyterian Church in its $35,000,000 campaign, the Methodist Centenary Campaign and numerous other Church campaigns.—Editor Current History.
