Donald W. Beattyteaches Latin American and American Diplomatic History. He has traveled extensively through Latin America, and in 1949-1950 he studied there under a Doherty Fellowship. He is co-author of An Introduction to Hispanic American History, and is finishing a new book, The Recent Social and Economic History of Chile.
