Harry B. Murklandhas worked on every kind of publication from daily newspapers to encyclopedias, and is the author of numerous magazine articles. He has specialized in Latin American affairs for 15 years, serving as Latin American editor of Newsweek from 1944 to 1948 when he took over his present job. During World War II he served as political analyst in the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs.
