J. J. ANJARIA was Assistant Chief, Department of Research, for the International Monetary Fund in Washington, 1946-1948, and Director of Monetary Research at the Reserve Bank of India from 1948-1950. In 1950 he was appointed Chief of the Economic Division of the Planning Commission of India.
