Immigration and Assimilation

IRA De A. REID is professor of sociology and chairman of that department at Haverford College. He is the author of The Negro Immigrant and numerous articles on population problems. He has served as Consultant on Minorities for governmental agencies, including the Social Security Board and the War Manpower Commission.
