Strategy of the Mediterranean

DONALD W. MITCHELL, Contributing Editor of Current History, is a military historian best known for his prize-winning History of the Modern American Navy and several hundred articles on military affairs which, have appeared in the Yale Review, The Nation, U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings and other publications. At present he is writing a volume on Overseas Hospitalization for the World War II History series of the U.S. Army.
