GEORGE PARKIN DE TWENEBROKES GLAZEBROOK, educated at the University of Toronto and at Oxford University, was Professor of History at the University of Toronto before joining the Canadian Department of External Affairs in 1942. In 1946 he returned to Toronto, rejoining the Department of External Affairs in 1949. In 1953 he was appointed Minister to the United States. He is the author of History of Transportation in Canada, History of Canadian External Relations, A Short History of Canada and Canada at the Paris Peace Conference.
