The “New Look”

DONALD W. MITCHELL, Contributing Editor of Current History, won an Alfred A. Knopf Literary Fellowship in 1943 for his History of the Modern American Navy. A military historian at present attached to the Surgeon-General’s Office, he has contributed to such periodicals as the New Republic, Yale Review, The Nation, and U. S. Naval Institute Proceedings.
