SEYMOUR E. HARRIS includes among his more than 25 books on economics: Saving American Capitalism, The Economics of Mobilization and Inflation, and most recently The Economics of New England. During World War II he served on the board of Economic Warfare Policy and the Committee on Postwar Commercial Policy. More recently he was advisor to N.R.S.B. from 1946-1947, consultant to the President’s Council of Economic Advisors from 1950-1951, and chairman of the New England Governors’ Committee on the Textile Industry.
