JOHN A. CROW is Chairman of the Spanish Department at U. C. L. A. He helped to organize the International Institute of Ibero-American Literature. Among Ms recently published works are Federico Garcia Lorca, Life and Works (1949), The Epic of Latin America (1946) and Panorama de las Américas (1949).
