Dom Pedro: Monarch

JOHN J. JOHNSON has taught at Stanford University since 1946. He has traveled extensively in Latin America, and spent 1952-1953 with the State Department as Acting Branch Chief in the Division of Research for the American Republics. He is now working on political change in Latin America since 1910.
