MARGUERITE HALL ALBJERG, who received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin, was formerly head of the history department at Alabama State College for Women. Since her marriage, she has taught “more than half the time” in the department of history and government at Purdue University. Mrs. Albjerg is co-author with her husband of From Europe to Stressa (1937); Europe from 1914 to the Present (1951). With F. B. Knight, she is co-author of We, the Guardians of Our Liberty (1940). In 1953, she published A Bank Grows in Lafayette. Her articles have appeared in many periodicals and learned journals.
