MICHAEL T. FLORINSKY, Associate Professor of Economics; Faculty of Political Science (Graduate School) of Columbia University, has just finished a two volume study of Russia: A History and an Interpretation, which will appear in September, 1953. In 1951, this well-known authority on the Soviet Union published a revised edition of Toward an Understanding of the U.S.S.R.
