Professor of Economics, Mount Holyoke College
ALZADA COMSTOCK, Professor of Economics at Mount Holyoke College since 1927, received her Ph.D. degree from Columbia University and did graduate work at the London School of Economics and the Sorbonne. From 1939 to 1945 she was chairman of the committee on international relations of the American Association of University Women and at present she is a member of the American Economic Association. Miss Comstock is a contributing editor of Current History and the author of Taxation in the Modern State.
