III. From the Standpoint of Science

Professor Rice, eminent as a zoologist, is a graduate of the Wesleyan University, Connecticut. He pursued higher studies at the Universities of Berlin, Munich and Freiburg, Germany, and at the Universities of Chicago, Columbia and Harvard in the United States. He was one of the scientific experts called to testify by the defense at the Scopes trial.
